What's Not Included

We do not include the costs of airfare, meals other than those specifically mentioned for each program, transportation to the airport at the conclusion of the program, or discretionary and recreational spending money.

Budgeting For Your Trip

In general, a person can survive quite comfortably (meals, a movie, moderate socializing or nightclubbing in the less touristy areas) on $30 per day.  Of course, it's possible to spend $100 on a five star dinner, but the adventurous traveller, willing to wander off the main track and experiment with the somewhat daunting Czech language, can live very reasonably.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Education Central Europe follows the refund policy of the University of South Florida Study Abroad office.  Of the initial $500 deposit paid to USF, $200 is refundable.  After the balance of the program fee has been paid, Education Central Europe will refund money that has not yet been distributed to vendors and purveyors, until the final payment date stated in the program brochure.

After the final payment date, no refund is given for failure to participate in the program, or in any of the activities offered as part of the program.

If ECE must cancel the program prior to departure, all program fees (including the normally non-refundable deposit) are refunded. If ECE must cancel a program once it has already begun overseas, all recoverable monies are refunded.
